HELMAND, June. 26 – Amid ongoing Omari campaign, Mujahideen launched coordinated attacks on 3 enemy bases located on Lashkargah road close to Zaqom Charrahi area of Marjah district at around 11:00 pm last night. Attacks in which heavy and light arms were used lasted till 1:30 pm, resulting in all the 3 bases overrun leaving 19 gunmen killed, several others wounded and the rest forced to flee. A heavy machine gun, 4 American rifles, 1 communication device and other war equipment was seized in the operation. 2 Mujahideen also embraced martyrdom.
