HELMAND, May. 29 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Masnouri’, Mujahideen carried out coordinated assaults on ANA and police check posts in Loy Bagh and Qari post areas of Nad Ali district early morning today. Attacks of heavy and light arms continued till noon hours with full intensity, resulting in 6 enemy posts overrun after killing 19 ANA and ANP personnel and destroying 3 APCs while forcing the rest to flee leaving 15 corpses and ammunition behind. Mujahideen have blocked off the road to district center in the said area. Meanwhile enemy has heavily bombarded the area, leaving 7 Mujahideen hurt and 3 others martyred (May Allah accept them).
