Under the leadership of Prime Minister Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Hassan Akhund, the 18th cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan took place on Monday, Several important matters were discussed, and decisions were made during the session.

The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the Ministry of Public Works being tasked with initiating the construction of the remaining section of the Kabul-Logar highway from Pul Mahmood Khan to Chahar Asiyab in the first month of the upcoming year.

Additionally, the ten-year plan for tree planting, prepared by the Environmental Protection Administration, received approval. The Ministry of Irrigation and Livestock will collaborate with relevant agencies to implement this plan.

The Security Commission was instructed to take decisive actions against all individuals involved in drug trafficking, including the identification of operational sites and prohibited substances.

Furthermore, a non-binding agreement was reached between the Emirati administration and Emirati companies, granting priority to these companies in all applicable cases.

The cabinet meeting concluded with a communal prayer.
