18 killed and wounded as 3 posts overrun in Farah

FARAH, Jun. 10 – According to reports, Mujahideen carried out assaults on 3 enemy check posts in Larwn Band area of Pur Chaman district last night, overrunning all three check post after a brief resistance of about 20 minutes, killing 12 puppets and leaving 3 others including a hireling commander seriously wounded.

2 PKM machine guns, 2 rifles, 1 RPG launcher, 2 Kalashnikovs, 2 binoculars and other war tools were confiscated.

It must be mentioned that after the conquest of the said district, Mujahideen have been conducting clearing operations against enemy positions, purging areas each day after causing heavy toll to enemy.
