KANDAHAR, May. 18 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Mansouri’, Mujahideen assaulted an enemy military base in Eshaqzo area of Maruf district last night. Attacks of about 100 hand grenades lasted till early morning hours, dismantling 2 towers of the post and destroying a ranger pickup while killing 9 including 3 commanders – Abdul Jabbar, Barak, and Daryab – as well as leaving 4 others including commander Sardar Wali seriously wounded. 3 Mujahideen are reportedly injured in the attack. This comes after Mujahideen took control over 3 posts in the province last night in Arghistan and Khakrez districts, leaving more than 15 minions killed and wounded.
