The 17th Cabinet Meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, led by Prime Minister Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Hassan Akhund, took place on Monday, where various topics were discussed during this meeting, with a particular focus on water treatment and water losses prevention.

 

The meeting commenced with a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by deliberations on the country’s water wastage, emphasizing the importance of addressing this issue. The Ministry of Energy was assigned the responsibility of leading a delegation to conduct meetings and interviews regarding water treatment and waste prevention. They are expected to present their findings in a report during the next cabinet meeting.

 

Furthermore, the cabinet made a decision to locate water treatment facilities near water sources, away from urban areas.

 

The meeting concluded with a prayer for blessings and prosperity.
