17 puppets killed in Ghazni; 12 civilians injured in enemy shelling

GHAZNI, Jan. 31 – Late Wednesday the Islamic Emirate’s Mujahideen engaged the enemy reinforcements called in following a fighting that left 9 puppets dead and 11 others wounded in Shalgar district of Ghazni province.

Reports said at least 5 puppets were killed and 2 more were wounded in the second episode of fighting in which the enemy was forced to retreat.

Also Wednesday, two Arbakis were killed in Qarabagh district of Ghazni province as a roadside bomb blast hit the motorcycle they were riding pillion. A third Arbaki was, however, shot dead when he was trying to recover the dead from the bombsite.

Separately, 12 civilians were wounded when the enemy fired mortar rounds on a group of the villagers on the way to attend funeral prayer in Qarabagh district of Ghani province on Tuesday.
