17 puppets killed, 8 injured in Balkh 

BALKH, Jan. 18 – At least 5 Arbakis were killed and 2 more were wounded late Friday night when Mujahideen raided two of the bases belonging to the local militia in Khas Balkh district of northern Balkh province in which one base was fully dismantled and the other was badly damaged.

Another 2 enemy soldiers were killed and 2 more were wounded with 2 tanks destroyed when Mujahideen responded to the reinforcements called in to repel Mujahideen’s operation.

On Saturday, 6 puppets were killed and 2 tanks destroyed when Mujahideen opened fire on the military convoy trying to carry the dead and wounded from yesterday night’s operation.

Mujahideen also seized from the enemy arms and ammo in the operation.

On Friday, 2 puppets were killed and 1 got hurt when Mujahideen targeted an enemy base in Khas Balkh district of northern Balkh province.

Elsewhere in the said district, an Arbaki was shot and killed in a sniper attack on Friday.

On Thursday, 1 enemy soldier was killed and another one got hurt when Mujahideen ambushed the enemy convoy in Chahar Bolak district of the province, while 1 enemy soldier injured when Mujahideen targeted an enemy base in Chamtal district of the province on the same day.
