17 killed and wounded in Badakhshan

BADAKHSHAN, Jun. 04 – Combined hireling troops that launched attacks on Mujahideen positions in Tagab district’s Kato Bala area faced heavy Mujahideen resistance from 05:00 am Saturday till 02:00 pm local time today during which 2 hireling ANA troopers and 4 police were killed as well as 11 other gunmen wounded.

Officials say that the fighting ended with the enemy fleeing, leaving behind weapons and equipment which was seized, adding that a Mujahid was also martyred in the clashes (may Allah accept him) and 2 others injured.
