KUNDUZ, Jul. 17 – Reports from Kunduz capital say that Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate engaged foreign and hireling troops throughout the day in Du Balola, Aurteblaqi and Aminabad areas after a large convoy launched a clearing operation.
According to information, an American APC was blown apart by a powerful IED during the fighting in Du Balola area, killing 4 invaders aboard including a General whereas 14 hireling gunmen were also killed in the clashes and several others including a high ranking commander wounded.
Moreover Mujahideen launched their own attacks on enemy positions in the eastern gate of Kunduz city afternoon hours during which they reached the base of Kunduz airbase from one axis and from another, they took over the the main road stretching to Khanabad district from Charkhab all the way up to Chila Mazar areas.
These operations also resulted in an APC destroyed, 3 Arbaki militiamen killed and several others wounded.
