KHOST, Feb. 13 – The Police, in their ongoing fight against terrorism, have successfully discovered and seized a significant quantity of military weapons and ammunition during operations conducted over the past two months inKhost.
The recovered weapons and ammunition include 17 Kalashnikov rifles, 3 PK machine guns, 1 rocket launcher, 2 M16 rifles, 2 pistols, 2 night vision cameras, 1,500 AK-47 magazines, dozens of rocket, PK, and other ammunition, as well as various other equipment.
In addition, 17 individuals have been detained and handed over to judicial authorities for further investigation.
