BADAKHSHAN, May 29 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate took over 3 bases and 13 combat posts amid a large-scale operation from the enemy in Tagab district of northern Badakhshan province on Sunday.

Mujahideen also cleared 15 villages of the enemy, chasing them away in the fighting in which a number of the enemy personnel suffered casualties, while a further five villages are under Mujahideen siege.

Two Mujahideen also suffered injuries in the fighting.

Similarly, Mujahideen captured from the enemy various kinds of arms and ammunition.

In the province’s Daraiem district, Mujahideen flushed the enemy pout of a huge territory and overran a post during a deadly fighting that caused the enemy heavy toll.
