16 killed, 8 hurt and tank destroyed in Marghab

BADGHIS, Aug. 18 – At around 10:00 pm local time on Wednesday Mujahideen attacked a hireling convoy attempting to transfer reinforcement to their under siege check posts in Akazo area of Marghab district.
Attack continued till 2:00 am local time, leaving a hireling tank destroyed, 16 gunmen killed and 8 others deadly wounded while a Mujahid also wounded.
