WARDAK, Aug. 2 – Al-Emarah News said as many as 16 joint enemy person were killed and a further 13 were injured in the intense fighting after the enemy’s attempts to reopen Kabul-Kandahar highway were foiled in Syed Abad district of Wardak province.

It added 5 military tanks were destroyed, while Mujahideen seized 3 enemy posts.
