16 killed, 10 vehicles destroyed in Wardak province

WARDAK, May 16 – The Islamic Emirate’s Mujahideen took by surprise the convoys with loads of supplies in Syed Abad district of Wardak province on Monday in which 6 supply trucks were destroyed.

At least 8 puppets were killed and 2 more were wounded in the firefight. A Mujahid fighter is reported to have become martyr in the fighting.

Later Monday, 1 tank was blown up by IEDs killing 5 puppets in the said district.

In the province’s Jalga district, 4 puppets were killed and another 2 were wounded with a tank destroyed in gun battle that occurred late Monday following Mujahideen ambush.

Also Monday, the administrative building of Chaghto district came under Mujahideen attacks but no losses of life and in were reported.
