According to a report of the ministry of interior, authorities have successfully apprehended 16 individuals in connection with a range of criminal activities, including theft, injury, smuggling, and other offenses across seven provinces of the country.
Among the apprehended individuals, five individuals were arrested in Takhar province for their involvement in different criminal acts. In Kapisa, three individuals were taken into custody due to drug-related offenses.
Additionally, one thief was arrested in Herat, while two individuals were apprehended for drug smuggling in Nimroz. Another individual was arrested for causing injury to another person using a knife.
Further arrests included one individual in Samangan for the theft of 800,000 Pakistani currency. In Ghazni, three vehicle thieves were apprehended, while two other thieves lost their lives in a confrontation with the local police in Balkh province.
