15 posts overrun, large area cleared as fighting ongoing in Tarinkot

URUZGAN, Sep. 07 – Amid ongoing annual Omari campaign Mujahideen’s operation against enemy defensive posts of capital Tarinkot is said to be still ongoing since early yesterday.
Large areas of Kakrak, Khorman, Balochi, Dejwr, Ferosha, and Todo including a strategic military base and 15 check posts have so far been overrun after a brief resistance.
All the surrounding areas of the capital are under tight siege and attacks of Mujahideen, the details of which will be updated later.
