15 killed, 2 vehicles destroyed in Baghlan operation

BAGHLAN, July 20 – At least 12 enemy personnel were killed and several sustained injuries Poli Khomri district of northern Baghlan province early Thursday morning in the fighting gonging on for three days in a row in Baghlan province, according to Al-Emarah News reports.

This came when Mujahideen attacked a major base in Shahabuddin area of the said district.

Mujahideen captured from the enemy 6 Kalashnikov rifles, 2 PK Russian-made machine guns, 1 vehicle and ammunition. A vehicle was also destroyed in the fighting.

Similarly, fighting raged along the road close to Shahabuddin area after Mujahideen ambushed the battalion of the reinforcements.

This came as the district center and police headquarters are under Mujahideen siege.

Later, 3 puppets were killed and 2 more were wounded when the enemy tank was targeted by Mujahideen IEDs in the mentioned area of Pol-i-Khomri.
