14 killed in Paktia province

 PAKTIA, June 5 – An enemy soldier was killed in an attack on a post in the provincial capital of Paktia province, while an Arbaki was shot and wounded elsewhere in Gardiz city, the capital of the province.

Also in Gardiz city, an intelligence officer and an employee were killed in a targeted attack, while elsewhere in Gardiz city an enemy soldier was killed and 2 more were wounded in an attack on a base.

In another report, 3 policemen were wounded in separate attacks in Gardiz city.

In the province’s Zurmat district, 3 puppets were killed when a tank hit a landmine blast.

In the province’s Syed Karam district, an enemy soldier was killed and another one was wounded.

In a report from neighboring Paktika province, an Ar Arbaki commander was killed and 1 Arbaki was wounded in an attack in Sarhowza district.

In reports from Khost province, 2 puppets were killed in a bomb attack in Nadir Shah Kot district of Khost province, while another 3 were killed in Alishir district of the province.
