HELMAND, Sep. 02 – Reports from Gerishk district state that a heavy gunfight brock out against enemy troops arriving to Yaklang, Maktab, and Shindak Manda areas of Nahr Siraj region for unblocking the Lashkargah rout overnight. During firefight an APC was destroyed in Maktab area and 2 others in Shindak Manda area by IED attacks, leaving all gunmen killed or hurt inside. Likewise hireling patrol also came under bombing, resulting in 14 puppets killed and wounded. Mujahideen suffered no casualties in the operation.
