GHAZNI, Apr. 17 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate seized a military unit in Ghazni city, the capital of the province with the same name last night, killing 3 policemen and leaving 5 more wounded.

Mujahideen also captured from the enemy 3 Kalashnikov machine guns, 1 heavy machine gun, 3 hand grenades and ammo.

Likewise, Mujahideen combatants overrun 2 enemy combat posts in Chaghto district of Ghazni province last night.

At least 8 policemen including an officer were killed and a further 6 sustained injuries in the ensuing firefight, while Mujahideen seized from the enemy a good deal of arms and ammo.

In another report from Ghazni, at least 3 Arbakis were killed and 4 more were injured in clashes with Mujahideen in Maqur district of the province on Monday. An armored tank was destroyed after coming under rocket fire.

Mujahideen seized from the Arbakis 1 motorcycle and arms and ammunition in yesterday’s operation.

Three Mujahideen fighters are said to have been martyred in the operation.
