GHAZNI, Sept. 5 – An intense fighting unfolded in Shalgar district of Ghazni after the enemy convoy of military tanks and vehicles arrived the scene where Mujahideen had just conducted a bomb blast early Sunday.
At least 7 puppets were killed and 4 more suffered fatal injuries in the two-hour long battle.
Three of the enemy tanks including the one targeted by the blast were destroyed in the fighting.
Early Monday, Mujahideen forced the enemy military convoy into a halt after opening fire on it along the road between Paktika and Ghazni in the limits of Shalgar district of Ghazni province.
A deadly fighting broke out in which at least 7 puppets were killed and a further 1o suffered injurers, where a Mujahid fighter was wounded.
The Ghazni-Paktika road is said to have remained closed off due to fighting.
