14 including commander killed in Farah, tank destroyed

FARAH, Aug. 03 – According to reports the gunfight that is continued against enemy positions in the surroundings of Pushtrod district is said to be ongoing.
According to details in the recent operation of last night and today so far a hireling commander – Jalaluddin – has been killed along with 8 others, 6 have been wounded as well as a tank destroyed.
It is said that 57 puppets have been killed with over 40 wounded and 8 tanks destroyed in the 12 days long gunfight.
Enemy bases and check posts are under tight siege in the area and all the routs have been blocked off for enemy.
