14 check posts overrun in Takhar, 10 villages cleared

TAKHAR, July. 22 – Amid ongoing ‘Omari’ campaign Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks throughout yesterday on enemy positions in Gorthepa area of Khwaja Ghar district.
Gunfight resulted in 14 enemy check posts were overrun and 10 villages are purged from enemy, leaving several police and Arbakis killed or wounded as well as 2 gunmen arrested and a Mujahid wounded.
Similarly enormous amount of high and light weapons were seized in the operation.
