GHAZNI,June 5 – At least 4 commandos were killed and 5 more were wounded in clashes as the enemy tried to reopen Ghazni- Paktika highway which has remained blocked over the past 31 days. A Mujahid fighter was also martyred in the fighting.

On Monday, at least 4 puppets were killed and 1 wounded when Mujahideen shot an enemy tank with rocket fires in Shalgar district of Ghazni province, while an Arbaki trying to escape following the clash was shot dead and a Kalashnikov and bullet strip got seized from him.

Later Monday, a policeman surrendered to Mujahideen with his Kalashnikov rifle elsewhere in the said district.

In the province’s Maqur district, an Arbaki was killed and another wounded in an attack by Mujahideen last night, while Mujahideen attacked 2 of the enemy posts in Ab Band district of this province last night.

Early Tuesday, 2 puppets were killed in a roadside bomb blast in Ab Band district of Ghazni province
