13 killed, 7 hurt as 3 posts overrun in Zabul

ZABUL, May. 20 – Amid ongoing ‘Al Khandaq Operations’, Mujahideen attacked Daichopan district administration center, a military base and enemy check posts on the distance of 1 kilometer from the district headquarter in Norlak area overnight.

Attacks of heavy and light arms continued till morning hour, overrunning 3 check posts in Norlak area, leveling a part of district administration center and causing heavy toll to enemy.

13 corpses and 7 wounded were witnessed while 5 Mujahideen were wounded, too.

It must be mentioned that Mujahideen have launched operations since last 20 days against enemy poisons in the district, so far, 5 key enemy check posts have been overrun, killing 26 puppets and leaving 17 more wounded as well as a large amount of war spoils have been seized while enemy is under tight siege.
