12 puppets killed and wounded in Gerishk operations

HELMAND, Jan. 19 – Officials say, Mujahideen stormed a security checkpoint with heavy and light arms in Nawi Karez area of Gerishk district last night, leaving 6 puppets killed and wounded inside and a Mujahid was also martyred in the crossfire.

Moreover, a gunman was killed and another one wounded when a hireling patrol came under a tactical mine attack close to Haji Abdul Aziz pump area of the said district.

Also in the said district, 3 police were killed in an attack on a check post along the road to capital Lashkargah overnight.

Furthermore, a sniper has shot and killed a gunman and left another one seriously wounded in Deh Adam Khan area of the said district.
