12 puppets killed and wounded in Gerishk operations

HELMAND, Feb. 12 – A ranger pickup is said to have been shred into pieces by a roadside bomb blast in Mandyano area of Gerishk district overnight, leaving 2 police killed and 3 others wounded.

Another enemy vehicle was torn apart following an IED blast in Seyad Tajdar Agha area of the said district last night, killing and wounding all gunmen killed or hurt inside.

Similarly, another landmine ripped through an enemy pickup in Tori Shah area between Gerishk and Sangin districts on Sunday, leaving all gunmen killed or hurt abroad.

Separately, 2 more police were killed in an exchange of fire with Mujahideen in Bughra area late yesterday.

Moreover, 2 more puppets were killed after an enemy patrol tactically bombed in Yakhchal area, Nahr Siraj region of Gerishk district.
