HERAT, May. 01 – At around 5:00 pm this afternoon, an enemy tank was shred into pieces by an IED attack in Robatero area of Shindand district, leaving 3 gunmen killed while 2 others wounded. Also today, 2 police were killed and their 2 rifles seized when Mujahideen assaulted their post in Haji Aqa Killi area of Guzra district. Meanwhile, an enemy patrol came under a roadside bomb blast in Bala Shahr area of Shindand district, leaving a minion killed on the spot. Moreover, at least 3 gunmen were killed with another one deadly wounded amid a 3 hours long gunfight prompted after Mujahideen stormed an enemy check post in Abjarmi area, overnight in the series of ongoing ‘Operation Mansouri’.
