GHAZNI, Aug. 3 –  As many as 12 puppets have been killed and more than 17 suffered injuries in a violent fighting triggered by Mujahideen offensive on the enemy posts in Shalgar district of southern Ghazni province, Al-Emarah News says.

According to reports, the fighting started early Tuesday and continued into night hours in which at least 29 puppets suffered casualties while two of the enemy tanks were shot with rockets and a further two were destroyed in landmine blasts in yesterday’s operation. A Mujahid fighter, too, was wounded in the fighting.

Later, the enemy shelled 6 villages in the said district in order to retaliate, the reports said, adding that the civilian suffered heavy casualties and damages but the extent of the death and injury is not determined.
