12 killed, APC destroyed as post overrun in Nawa

HELMAND, Feb. 20 – According to reports, Mujahideen managed to overrun a hireling check post in Tangano Gudar area following a volatile gunfight, killing 8 puppets forcing the rest to flee.

2 rifles and other were also confiscated from the post.

Separately, a hireling APC was shred into pieces by an IED blast in Sar Khadoz area of the said district early yesterday, killing and wounding all gunmen abroad.

Moreover, a sniper has shot and killed 2 puppets by sniper in Haji Abddul Aziz pump area and 2 others in Parchaw area of Nawa district overnight.
