12 killed and wounded, vehicle destroyed in Helmand

HELMAND, Dec. 20 – A sniper has shot and killed 2 policemen in Awpashak Manda area of Gerishk district at 7:30 pm local time on Tuesday.
Separately, 2 more police were killed and another one seriously wounded in a check post’s tower in Kharako area of Garamsir district last night.
Moreover, 3 police are said to have been killed and a further 2 wounded after being sniped in Sara Godar area of capital Lashkargah afternoon hours yesterday.
2 more puppets have been killed amid a tactical mine blast in Popalzo area, Nahr Siraj region of Gerishk district.
Also in Gerishk, a Kamaz truck was blown apart by an IED attack in Yakhchal area, Nahr Siraj region midday today, leaving all gunmen killed or hurt abroad.
