12 killed, 9 hurt in eastern Afghanistan

NANGARHAR, Jan. 6 – At least 5 puppets were killed and 3 others were wounded in hours of fighting that broke out after Mujahideen counterattacked the enemy offensive in Pachir Wa Agam district of Nangarhar province on Thursday, where two Mujahideen fighters embraced martyrdom in the operation.

Sadly, two children were martyred and one was severely injured when the enemy pounded the village with heavy weapons in the area.

Also Thursday, four Arbakis suffered casualties in a one-hour long fighting unfolded in Bati Kot district of Nangarhar province.

Moreover, 4 puppets were killed and a further 6 suffered wounds after Mujahideen intercepted the enemy convoy and drew the enemy security personnel in an intense fighting that lasted hours in Ghani Khail district of the province on Thursday.
