12 killed, 2 tanks destroyed as key post overrun in Gerishk

HELMAND, May. 02 – At around 11:00 pm local time last night Mujahideen assaulted a key police check post in Ab Pashak area of Gerishk district, overrunning the post after killingn12 puppets including a notorious enemy commander Wali as well as seizing 1 PKM machine gun, 1 RPG launcher, 1 rifle, 2 binoculars, 2 motorbikes and other equipment.

Later on, enemy reinforcement arriving the said also came under Mujahideen attacks, during which 3 APCs were destroying causing further losses to enemy.

It is said that 3 Mujahideen were wounded and another one embraced martyrdom during the operation.
