12 including police chief killed and wounded as post overrun in Saripul

SARIPUL, Aug. 20 – According to Al Emarah news, amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, Mujahideen have launched vast offensive against enemy positions in Masjid Sabz, Toop Khana and the surrounding areas of Sangcharak district late night on Saturday.
Attacks are said to be still ongoing, so far several hireling check posts have been overrun, forcing the enemy to flee after taking serious casualties while leaving behind 8 corpses on the battle ground and wounding 4 including the said district police chief.
According to details 2 PKM machine guns, 2 AKs and other war equipment have been seized in the operation.
2 Mujahideen have embraced martyrdom while 5 others wounded (May accept them).
