DAIKUNDI, Sep. 23 – Reports say a gunfight that started early yesterday against enemy positions in Gizab district is said to be still ongoing with full swing.

Details, say as many as 12 hireling posts have so far been overrun while enemy has fled from district police HQ and a base leaving behind 5 corpses including dead bodies of 2 commanders – Hamdullah and Qadir – on the battle ground and 3 others arrested.

At least 25 gunmen have surrendered along with 24 rifles and other equipment to Mujahideen.

Currently heavy attacks underway on a hireling base, the details of which will be updated later.
