12 arrested in Farah province on various criminal charges

FARAH, Feb. 06 –  As many as 12 people have been arrested by the security and intelligence forces of Farah province on various criminal charges during the past 48 hours.

Security and intelligence forces in Farah province, in a joint operation, arrested 12 people on charges of car and motorcycle theft, mobile theft, arms smuggling and homosexuality. The suspects confessed to their crimes and security forces seized a car, five motorcycles, a pistol, a night vision goggle and a mobile set.

The Farah Police Headquarters’s Criminal Investigation Department has handed over the cases of the above 12 criminals to the Judiciary after investigation for further proceedings.
