TAKHAR, June 20 – At least 90 enemy’s joint personnel including army, police and militia were taken captives when Mujahideen took over the administrative district building of Baharak, Takhar province, police headquarters, intelligence directorate and all the checkpoints of the district.

Dozens of the enemy personnel including an Arbaki commander and an intelligence officer were killed in the operation.

Mujahideen seized from the enemy possessions 90 Kalashnikovs, 7 Soveit PK, a heavy machine guns, 11 RPG rockets, 3 long range rifles, 7 pistols, 5 radios,  2 DhSk, anti aircraft vehicle mounted heavy machine guns, 1 artillery gun, 8 tanks, 3 vehicles and ammunition of several different kinds and other military equipment.

In another report from Takhar, 6 enemy personnel were killed and 6  more including 2 commanders were wounded following a Mujahideen attack on a post in Rustaq district of Takhar province last night.

The enemy was forced to empty the post which was taken by Mujahideen.

In the province’s Khawaja Ghar district, 5 puppets were killed and 4 more suffered injuries following an ambush in which 1 tank, arms and ammunition were seized from the enemy.

Similarly, the district of Dahan-e-Ghori and  all its installations fell to Mujahideen in Baghlan province.

Three tanks and 1 vehicle and arms were seized.

Likewise, the district of Mirzaka, its installations and checkpoints slipped from the enemy control into Mujahideen in Paktia province.

A number of the enemy personnel suffered fatalities with 2 tanks, 2 vehicles and 20 guns seized.

Furthermore, the administrative building of the district of Mardain Jowzjan province, its checkpoints and police headquarters fell to Mujahideen last night.

Twenty three enemy’s joint personnel were taken prisoners, while 120 Kalasnikovs, 8 RPG rockets, 5 PK heavy machine guns, 1 M16 rifle, 1 DhSK, a heavy anti aircraft machine gun, 1 mortar cannon and a great deal of ammunition of different kinds with 1 tank and 2 vehicles were seized from the enemy.
