111 enemy personnel lay down arms against Mujahideen 

BALKH, Jan. 2 – In the Balkh province’s 9 districts, 111 enemy personnel including the army, police and militia have switched to the Islamic Emirate in the past few days. The surrender came in Khas Balkh, Chamtal, Chahar Bolak, Chahar Kint, Zaray, Shortipa, Sholgar and Deh Dadi districts of the province.
