11 killed, APC destroyed as key base overrun in Tarinkot

URUZGAN, May. 18 – Amid ongoing spring offensive ‘Al Khandaq Operations’, Mujahideen attacked a strategic enemy base in Gograk ara of capital Tarinkot overnight, sparking clashes that lasted for about 3 hours, overrunning the base after killing 11 mercenaries and destroying an APC while seizing 3 rifles and other equipment.

The said base was also overrun by Mujahideen some days ago, in which 15 puppets were killed, too.
