11 killed and wounded as tank, APC and vehicle destroyed in Nahr Siraj

HELMAND, Aug. 29 – At around 7:30 pm local time on Sunday enemy troops escorted by tanks, APCs and ranger pickups arriving Chargul pump area for reinforcement of the under siege enemy check posts, came under a Mujahideen attack, during which an armored tank and APC were destroyed by bomb blast.
Another vehicle was destroyed in Wazir Manda area by IED attack, leaving 11 gunmen killed or hurt in all the above attacks.
