11 killed and wounded as 2 posts overrun in Gerishk

HELMAND, Jun. 22 – Mujahideen carried out attacks on police checkpoints close to police headquarter of Gerishk district overnight, overrunning a post after killing 7 police and destroying 4 motorbikes while seizing a PKM machine gun, 1 LPG, 3 Kalashnikov rifles and other equipment.

Meanwhile, Mujahideen got control over an Arbaki check post in Bazar area of the said district, killing and wounding 4 puppets as well as seizing 3 rifles and other equipment as war spoils.

A Mujahid was also martyred during the crossfire.
