GHAZNI, Mar. 18 – The Islamic Emirate’s Mujahideen seized control of an army unit in the provincial capital of Ghazni province late yesterday night following a raid leading to a firefight in which at least 7 policemen were killed, Al-Emarah reporter said.

Later, Mujahideen ambushed a battalion of the enemy reinforcement called in to back the police coming under Mujahideen attack in which 1 enemy soldier was killed and 5 more wounded with 2 tanks destroyed, he added.

Mujahideen seized from the enemy possession 5 Kalashnikov machine guns, 1 PK, 1 RPG rocket and ammo.

In another report from Ghazni, 3 enemy soldiers lost their lives with a further 2 wounded in an exchange of fire following Mujahideen attack on enemy post in Shalgar district of Ghazni province last night.
