    • SAMANGAN, June 8 – At least 7 puppets were killed and 12 more were wounded with 3 tanks destroyed when Mujahideen seized control of a military unit in Darah-e-Souf district of northern Samangan province.

    A good deal of arms and ammo including 3 Kalashnikov machine guns, 1 M16 rifle, 1 DShK (a heavy Soviet machine gun, with ammunition and 3 vehicles were seized from the enemy’s possession.

    In the provincial capital of Samangan, 4 puppets were killed when Mujahideen seized an enemy post.
