KANDAHAR, Oct. 22 – As many as 104 foreign tourists have visited different historical and touristic areas of Kandahar province this month, say officials of Kandahar Information and Culture Department.

Mawlawi Hamid Ehsan, the department’s director of tourism says the tourists include visitors from the United States, Spain, Canada, China, and other nations. The province’s historical attractions include the tombs of Ahmad Shah Baba and Mirwais Nikah, Sarpoosh Bazaar, Chihel Zeny, and the Naranj Palace.

As overall security has been insured through out the country following advent of the Islamic Emirate therefore Afghanistan has become a good tourist destination for international tourists.
