10 villages purged, post seized as Operation Masnoori begins; 5 puppets taken captive; 6 killed

BAGHLAN, Apr. 28 – Mujahideen seized a combat post and purged the enemy from 10 villagers after hours of fighting in Doshi district of Baghlan province as “Operation Masnoori” began on Friday morning, Al-Emarah News said.

Similarly, Mujahideen take 5 puppets prisoners and killed a commander in Friday morning operation, while capturing from the enemy 6 Kalashnikovs and a good deal of ammunition and other military equipment.

Fighting continued to rage in other parts of Baghlan province with Mujahideen making a rapid progress.

Later in the morning, 5 policemen including an officer, commander Fath were killed in a bomb blast in Poli Khomri district of Baghlan province.
