10 percent rise in saffron harvest this year

The Afghan Saffron Association has reported a 10 percent rise in saffron harvest this year compared to the previous year.

According to the association’s statement, Afghanistan has harvested 40 tons of saffron across various provinces this year, securing the top position in the international market for quality.

This announcement comes in contrast to last year’s harvest of 30 tons of saffron.
