10 minions killed, 1 taken captive in country’s north on Day 5

TAKHAR, May 2 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate in Khwaja Bahauddin district of northern Takhar province killed at least 6 combined police and militia in an hours-long fighting on Monday that continued into night hours, while a Mujahid fighter embraced martyrdom with two more wounded in the daylong fighting.

Early Tuesday, on the fifth day of “Operation Mansoori”Mujahideen chased the militia away, clearing 3 large villages of the enemy in Baharak district of this province that led to killing 3 Arbakis, while taking 1 prisoner.

According to a report from the northern province of Balkh, Qali, an Arbaki commander was killed and 3 of his gunmen were injured in a Mujahideen attack in Kaldar district of this province on Monday night.

In a report from the neighboring Province of Baghlan, 2 puppets were killed when Mujahdieen ambushed the enemy compact patrol in the province Baghlan-e-Markazi district f this province on Tuesday morning.
