10 killed or wounded as 3 enemy bases overrun in Nahr Siraj

HELMAND, Aug. 01 – Reports say Mujahideen carried out attacks on 3 ANP security bases on Lashkargah road in Popalzo area of Nahr Siraj region, Gerishk district, at midnight.
Attacks of heavy and light arms resulted in all 3 bases overrun after a brief resistance, killing and wounding 10 puppets inside while forcing them to leave 4 corpses behind on the battle ground.
5 AKs and other equipment was seized in the operation as well as a large area came under the control of Mujahideen.
