10 killed as post overrun in Nawa

HELMAND, Jun. 11 – Mujahideen attacked an enemy check post in Namro area of Nawa district last night, amid ongoing Al Khandaq spring operation.

Attacks of heavy, light and sniper arms lasted for about 2 hours, overturning the post after killing 10 Arbakis while forcing the rest to flee leaving corpses, 1 PKM machine gun, 1 RPG launcher, 3 Kalashnikovs and other ammunition behind on the batter ground.

2 Mujahideen have also sustained injuries in the operation.
